Question by Dennis: How can I get a silver fox pet in Canada, Ontario?
I live in Ontario, and I would like to have a silver fox as a pet. I am Russian-born, and I have heard that my country has spent 67 years domesticating this species. Now, I would like to know how to get one as a pet. Please help. DOMESTICATED. THEY ARE NOT WILD ANYMORE PEOPLE.

You order one from the university that breeds them. It will be about $ 7000 but if you really want one, that's how it's done. You may have to sign some b.s. papers, but it's not like they're going to go over to you're home in Canada and make sure you're following their rules. The fact is, if you do have to sign those papers, you will have to break some of those rules. Unless you love the smell of fox piss, it will have to live outside in a cage even though the papers may say they can't. If you have the money and don't care about lieing, order directly from them. They only sell the friendliest of puppies so you will certainly get a tame one.
